The Jinwang 1500×1500 Membrane Filter Plate is designed for large-capacity filter presses and demanding industrial dewatering applications where lower filter cake moisture and higher filtration efficiency are required.
Compared with conventional chamber filter plates, the membrane plate provides an additional mechanical cake pressing stage after the initial filtration process. Pressurized water or compressed air is introduced into the membrane chamber, causing the flexible diaphragm to expand and compress the filter cake evenly.
The membrane pressing stage typically operates for 2–5 minutes, with diaphragm pressure configured according to the filtration process and normally higher than the slurry feed pressure. This additional compression removes more filtrate from the cake, helping achieve lower cake moisture, faster cake formation and shorter overall cycle times.
